Race 3: Maiden Special Weight at 1 1/16 miles for fillies and mares
1 – Regia Marina
I’m disappointed that Regia Marina (#1) is coupled with Delay of Game (#1A), who will drag down the price of the entry too much. On the off chance that Delay of Game is scratched, Regia Marina would be worth a bet. Both of her Gulfstream efforts are a lot better than they look on paper. This towering daughter of Medaglia d’Oro has real ability and she lands in a good spot.
$25 Win 1
Race 6: Claiming $25,000 at one mile on the turf for fillies and mares
4 – Sun and Moon
Of those with turf form, I have no argument against the Electro Peg/Bargaining Table entry and Starship Pleasant. Those mares sport the best form, but I’m very interested in new face Sun and Moon (#4) getting on the turf. El Corredor is a decent 12% turf sire, and her dam and lone sibling to race both won on the turf (it was actually her dam’s preferred surface). Last time Sun and Moon had to endure a nightmarish trip, but she’s better than that and is a major player here if she takes to turf.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming $25,000 at 6 1/2 furlongs for NY-bred fillies and mares
7 – Stoneheartedlover
In the finale, I want to give Stoneheartedlover (#7) another chance as she turns back and gets a rider upgrade from her last dirt start. Turf wasn’t for her and she was coming off a 4 1/2 month layoff in her last dirt race. Low-profile connections will only inflate the price.
