I’m busy today, so I’m not going to be able to post picks for Sunday.
As most of you probably know, this Belmont fall meet has been my worst ever as a public handicapper. It’s also the first losing meet I’ve experienced since last season’s Belmont fall meet, just under a year ago, and that was not nearly this bad. Even beyond some personal disappointment over my own losses, I must admit that I do feel some sense of having let you all down. Yet while obviously losing isn’t fun, it does give you an opportunity to evaluate your errors and learn from your mistakes—that is, if you’re willing to be honest with yourself—and that’s what I’ll be attempting to do.
Thanks for keeping the faith. I certainly haven’t lost any in my own abilities, and I’m confident that I’ll be able to turn it around at Aqueduct.
I’ll also take this opportunity to mention that I’ll be handicapping both Friday’s and Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup cards next week, and will be focusing my energies on those races rather than Aqueduct through the weekend.
Good luck on closing day at Belmont!
